Welcome to the 901! This piece was almost a year in the making... We visited Memphis for the first time to run the Memphis in May Great American River Run Half Marathon. While the race provided an interesting tour of the city, we did some exploring on our own and found some things we really loved. Such as coffee shops that provided shelter from random sun showers, smelling everything at Buff City Soap, munching on cupcakes at Muddy's Bake Shop, shopping around the coolest Kroger we've ever been to, walking down Beale Street, visiting with every single person we know in the area, being wowed by Bass Pro Shops, and sight seeing all things Elvis Presley. Memphis, you may be very humid and sweaty, but you have a special place in our hearts.
