We took our first back country camping trip to Cosby, Tennessee and started our eight mile hike at Clingman's Dome. What a view! Even on a foggy day with an impending "hurricane" on the way, it was magnificent. Between the beautiful structure of the lookout and the heavenly landscape, we instantly fell in love. Taking a van full of small children also made this trip all the more exciting.
