Logan grew up in Unicoi County as the child of two loyal Unicoi County teachers. This building served as the Unicoi County Board of Education and has a long history with folks in the community. As Logan started studying architecture at UTK, he was fascinated by this abandoned building and all the possibilities it held for reuse. Coincidentally, the day he took Katherine by it to check it out, he found out it is now being renovated to become apartments in Erwin.
