As tends to happen when an industry leaves a town, the closing of the Erwin Car Shop was a pretty hard blow to the local community. We did this piece to commemorate the generations of folks that have worked on the railroad and an industry that helped build a small town. A small town that will continue to grow and be strong long after the last train rides through.
